The owner of this luxury condo in Toronto enlisted the expertise of Gonell Homes to renovate his unit to adapt to his needs as a quadriplegic. Looking to transform his space into his “forever” home, Will and his team completely customized the condo—from having to widen the threshold coming into the unit to accommodate a wheelchair, to adding hoists from the ceiling.  Each element was carefully considered; Will spent time in a wheelchair in order to fully understand the client’s needs and how to modify his surroundings. This particular project is close to Will’s heart and one that inspired him to become a Certified Living in Place Professional.
